Hey,
who is it that’s running this house?
I really don’t mind when he walks on my
face,
So, it’s okay to shred . . . but not to
displace!
But . . . I won’t play his game, called
cat-and-rat,
Hmmm . . . there he sits, aloof and alert,
Okay, it’s my chair that’s the prize we
contest,
“It’s his nature,” I hear my wife explain,
Oh, well . . . Cat, Bat, Rat or Gnat,

One fine summer day
Over the dunes and across the sand,
The ‘owners’ believe they’re the ones who
are free,
The humans lay blankets in the sand,
While the animals are off on their
frolicking spree,
The humans would love to be free as a
Dog,
One lucky summer day
In the Land of Oz, |
